OVERVIEW
The JJP-500GF is the top of our canopy range and the rating most often bought as a containerised module instead. At 500 kW prime the set dissipates enough heat that the enclosure design, not the engine, decides whether it delivers its rating in a 45 °C ambient. Tell us the site ambient temperature and altitude before you fix the rating — a 500 kW set at 45 °C and 1500 m is not a 500 kW set.

The engine is matched so that its standby output exceeds the alternator rating by 10–15 percent. We will quote any of the options above at the same alternator rating; the price difference between them is the engine cost, nothing else.
ALTERNATOR, CONTROL AND ENCLOSURE
Alternator: Leroy Somer LSA47.3S4 / Stamford HCI544, brushless, single-bearing, Class H insulation, IP23, 2/3 pitch winding for low waveform distortion. Controller: Deep Sea DSE7320 MKII as standard, with DSE8610 for parallel operation. Enclosure: powder-coated steel canopy, 65–75 dB(A) at 7 m depending on grade, with lockable access doors on both sides, integral double-walled fuel tank and a residential-grade exhaust silencer inside the canopy.
