OEM and private label generator sets built in our Dongguan factory

OEM & PRIVATE LABEL GENERATOR SETS

You already sell generator sets. We build them — with your nameplate on the door.

The Cost You Are Carrying Without Noticing

If you import bare engines and assemble locally, every single unit repeats the same work: fabricate or buy the acoustic canopy, source an alternator that actually matches the engine curve, wire the controller and AVR, build the skid and base frame, run a load test, produce the CE or EPA documentation, and then carry the warranty risk on an assembly you put together yourself.

None of that is your competitive advantage. It is overhead. It is also the reason a 500 kVA order takes you ten weeks instead of four, and the reason two units built in the same month can behave differently in the field.

We do that work in one factory, on one line, with the same people every time. You buy a finished genset, not a box of parts and a weekend.

We are an OEM generator manufacturer, not a trading company. That is the difference between a supplier who can build a white label genset to your drawing and one who can only forward a catalogue and a lead time. Whether you need a custom generator built around one specific engine, or a private label programme across a full rating range, it comes off the same line, built by the same crew, tested on the same load bank.

What Actually Arrives at Your Warehouse

The Complete Unit

  • Engine — Yuchai, Weichai, SDEC, Cummins, Perkins, Mitsubishi, Volvo, Isuzu or MTU
  • Alternator — Stamford, Leroy Somer, Engga, or our own brushless
  • Controller — ComAp, DeepSea or SmartGen, AMF or manual
  • Acoustic canopy, 65–75 dBA @ 7 m, powder-coated steel
  • Base frame with integrated fuel tank, 8–24 hour runtime
  • ATS, synchronising panel, remote monitoring — if you need them
  • Exhaust, radiator, batteries, breaker, all wired and terminated
  • Full load test report, wiring diagram, operation manual

Your Brand, Everywhere It Matters

  • Stainless nameplate on the canopy door — your company, your model code
  • Control panel fascia with your logo and your fault-code wording
  • Canopy colour to your RAL number, not our house red
  • Operation and maintenance manual typeset with your cover and contact page
  • Test certificate and declaration of conformity issued under your name
  • Export crate stencilled with your mark and shipping instructions
  • No Jinjia branding anywhere on the unit unless you ask for it

Three Ways to Work With Us

1. Complete Unit

We build, test and ship the finished genset. You sell it as your own product. Best when you have no assembly facility, or when a tender deadline will not wait for local build time.

Typical buyer: importer, distributor, EPC contractor, rental fleet.

2. CKD / SKD Kit

Canopy panels, frame, engine, alternator and harness ship knocked down. You assemble locally. Cuts ocean freight by 40–60% and can reduce import duty where a complete unit attracts a higher rate.

Typical buyer: local assembler with a workshop and two technicians.

3. Engine & Component Kit

Engine, alternator, controller, radiator and coupling as a matched set — no canopy, no frame. For builders who already have their own enclosure line and only want the drivetrain, correctly sized.

Typical buyer: established manufacturer adding a lower-cost tier.

What We Will Not Do

This matters more than any price list, so it is stated plainly. When we build under your brand, we stay out of your market.

We do not sell Jinjia-branded units into your territory.
We do not register your model names or trademarks.
We do not contact your customers, and we do not ask for your customer list.
We do not quote your competitor the configuration you paid us to develop.
If you want a written exclusivity clause for a product line or a territory, we will sign one.

Testing, Certification and Inspection

Every unit is load tested before it is crated. Not a bench run — a resistive load bank test at 25%, 50%, 75% and 100% of prime rating, with the readings recorded and the sheet shipped inside the canopy. You get the fuel consumption curve at each step, not a brochure figure.

Performance class to ISO 8528. G2 for general purpose, G3 where the load is nonlinear or the customer is a hospital, data centre or telecom site. Transient response and voltage recovery figures are stated on the test sheet.

Documentation by destination market. CE declaration and DoC for the EU and UK. EPA Tier 4 Final where the engine platform carries it. EU Stage V for non-road mobile. IEC 60034 for the alternator. We tell you honestly which ratings can carry which certificate before you quote, rather than after the container lands.

Third-party inspection welcome. SGS, Bureau Veritas, TÜV or your own engineer. We will open the unit, run it and let them watch. Pre-shipment inspection arranged at your cost, at our factory, on a date you choose.

Lead Time, Sample Orders and Price Holding

1 unit

Minimum for a sample order. We would rather you test one unit properly than commit to a container.

25–35 days

Standard configuration from deposit to crating. Custom canopy, synchronising panel or gas conversion adds 10–15 days.

20+ units

Annual volume agreement locks your price for twelve months against engine cost movement.

How an OEM Project Actually Starts

1

Send the spec

A rating list, a competitor datasheet, or just the kVA and the application. No template required.

2

Technical proposal

Engine and alternator selection with margins shown, canopy drawing, controller choice. Sent before any price.

3

Quotation

FOB or CIF to your port, with the cost breakdown between engine, alternator, canopy and controller visible.

4

Sample, then volume

One unit, your branding, your engineers free to take it apart. Volume terms only after you have seen it run.

Questions Buyers Ask Before Signing

Will my logo really be on the unit?

Yes, and we will send you a photograph of the actual nameplate on the actual unit before it is crated. If the plate is wrong, we remake it. Canopy colour, panel fascia, manual cover and crate stencil are all part of the order, not an extra.

Will you sell the same unit to my competitor?

Not with your branding, and not into a territory where you hold a written exclusivity with us. We will sign a territory or product-line exclusivity clause. What we cannot promise is to stop selling to every other company in your country if you have no agreement — which is exactly why the agreement exists.

Can you supply CKD so we assemble locally?

Yes. Canopy panels ship flat or pre-formed, frame in sections, engine and alternator separately crated, harness labelled by terminal. We will send assembly drawings and a technician can attend the first build if you want. Expect 40–60% lower freight and a longer local assembly time — the trade-off is yours to choose.

What happens when my customer needs warranty service?

You handle first-line service, we supply the parts. Consumables and common failure items — controllers, AVRs, sensors, injectors, water pumps — are held as stock against your account so you are not waiting on a shipment. Warranty terms are 12–24 months or 1000–2000 running hours, stated on the certificate under your brand.

Do you have references in my region?

We will tell you honestly what we have and what we do not. Our units run in the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Africa and Latin America, and our engine platforms — particularly Yuchai and Weichai — already have authorised parts and service networks in most of those markets, which is usually the harder problem to solve than the machine itself.

OEM Generator Manufacturing from China: What to Check Before You Commit

Most generator OEM supplier enquiries fail for the same three reasons, and none of them is price. The first is an engine platform that has no parts network in the destination country — a cheap genset that cannot be serviced is not cheap. The second is a canopy that was designed for 50 Hz airflow and then shipped to a 60 Hz market running at higher ambient temperature. The third is documentation: a CE declaration that does not match the engine rating actually fitted, discovered at customs or at the customer's inspection.

We ask about all three before quoting. Which engine family already has a distributor in your country. What the ambient temperature and altitude at site actually are, because both derate the machine and both change the radiator selection. And which certificate the destination market will actually demand — EU Stage V for non-road mobile, EPA Tier 4 Final for the United States, or nothing beyond ISO 8528 for a standby unit in a country that does not regulate it. Getting these wrong is what turns a private label generator programme into a warranty problem eighteen months later.

If you are assembling locally today and want to move to generator assembly in China under your own brand, the practical starting point is a single rating you sell most often. Send us that one rating, the destination country and the application. We will come back with the engine and alternator selection, the derating calculation and the canopy drawing — before a price is mentioned. That document is the one that tells you whether this supplier is worth a second conversation.

START WITH ONE UNIT AND YOUR OWN NAMEPLATE

Send us the ratings you move most often and the market they go to. We will come back with a technical proposal first — engine and alternator selection, canopy drawing, controller choice — before any price is discussed.
