OVERVIEW
The JJP-350GF is the first rating in the range where we fit a Leroy Somer alternator as standard rather than a Faraday frame. At 350 kW the alternator is doing real work and the extra cost of the LSA46 buys lower reactance, better motor starting and a longer winding life. If the load is motor-heavy — crushers, compressors, chiller screws — this is the rating where the alternator choice starts to matter as much as the engine.

The engine is matched so that its standby output exceeds the alternator rating by 10–15 percent. We will quote any of the options above at the same alternator rating; the price difference between them is the engine cost, nothing else.
ALTERNATOR, CONTROL AND ENCLOSURE
Alternator: Leroy Somer LSA46.3S4 / Stamford HCI544, brushless, single-bearing, Class H insulation, IP23, 2/3 pitch winding for low waveform distortion. Controller: Deep Sea DSE7320 MKII as standard, with DSE8610 for parallel operation. Enclosure: powder-coated steel canopy, 65–75 dB(A) at 7 m depending on grade, with lockable access doors on both sides, integral double-walled fuel tank and a residential-grade exhaust silencer inside the canopy.
